About Me
Hello, my name is Mrs. Libby Swanson and teaching is my passion. I began my teaching career as a camp counselor at the age of 18. From there, I taught special education for over 10 years in the public school system. After having my first child, I realized teaching children to read is one of the greatest joys in life. That’s when I started Impact Literacy Tutoring, LLC. Providing individualized instruction to all students allows me to marry my love for children and teaching.
I absolutely love learning about each individual student and strive to help each one grow: both socially and academically. Therefore, I adapt my instruction to meet the needs of every learner. I am excited to provide a positive and supportive learning experience for your child.

- Masters in Literacy Education
- Trained in Orton-Gillingham (OG) through the Institute of Multisensory Education (IMSE)
- Member of the International Dyslexia Association (IDA)
- Certified Teacher with degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education
